Associate Shelden called the first college leadership development program

(May 4, 2010) Debbie Shelden, Associate Professor, Department of special education, has been selected to serve as the first associate College of Education Leadership Development Program.

Shelden's work for the 2010-2011 academic year will focus on the development and advancement of College making progress on the seventh goal of the College of Education's five-year plan: increase donations and resources alternatives. The specific focus of this project will develop the relationship of College students in the age group 35-55 year. Although this group turns to some extent through the efforts of general progress, there is the potential for that network of expanding and increasing the contributions of students in this age group.

The purpose of the position Member COE Leadership Development Program that you just created is to allow the faculty to have an opportunity for early career development by expanding the "big picture" view, the development of a "lead by where you are", allowing them to advance their work and initiative through the appropriate administrative channels and at all levels of the University.
