(December 9, 2009) Hedda Meadan-Kaplansky, Assistant Professor in the Department of special education, was chosen as a recipient of the award Illinois State University Research Initiative for 2010. The award recognizes faculty members who have launched a research programme promising at the beginning of their academic career. Hedda will receive a monetary award and be recognized at the meeting of the founders day February 18, 2010.
